First, thank you for selecting our Web site to obtain more information not only about early childhood education but about the Montessori curriculum as well. We have created the Danville Montessori School to bring the best of two worlds together. For this, we decided to utilize an open physical classroom setting and the warmth of a smaller childcare facility with the structured social setting and academic curriculum of a formalized Montessori early childhood program. As a result, the child feels at ease in an environment which has the appearance of home but with the all the materials and equipment of a structured academic setting.
D anville Montessori was founded to address not only the demanding and complex needs of today's pre-school child, but the family as well. We founded the school with four goals in mind. The first goal is that a child's pre-school should be as clean as possible. The second goal is that the school should be as safe as possible. The third goal is that a child's should be as educationally stimulating as possible. The final goal is the school should be ready to assist the family to help solve problems instead of creating new ones.
I t is with these goals in mind that the Danville Montessori School was founded. Conveniently located one-half mile south of Sycamore Valley Road with easy access to I-680. We are minutes away from Alamo, Blackhawk, and of course, Danville.
